Crystal Lee Morgan is a songwriter and recording artist, whose music is true to her soul as a lifelong traveler. Crystal’s sound captures the musical influences of her childhood homes in California, Hawaii and Pittsburgh, the wandering gypsy elements of Americana, as well as a bluesy folk that adds a fresh smoked hue to her feather light voice. Her Energetic, Contemporary Songwriting and Strong Vocals make her an awesome Cross-Over Artist, with Indie Roots but she is Major Label ready. Crystal’s songwriting is well-crafted and radio competitive, heavy on visual lyrics. Her performance is equally strong providing the immediate sense of connection to the music in a real heartfelt way. She sings with soul that comes from a place that seems lost to most of us but is natural and always shining from her voice.
Crystal has been singing since she was born. With a microphone over her mobile, singing came before talking. For those who see her or know her, she is always humming along to some melody in her heart.
Most of her time is spent writing musing over her music and collaborating with friends. Crystal is constantly writing and recording. She spends time in the recording studios of Pittsburgh as a Studio Vocalist. Crystal is actively involved in the Pittsburgh music scene, the Twitter Community and the RAW Artist Network.

I’m over the moon, I’m amazed to announce that I spent a week in sunny Los Angeles, CA. The good people at Wurrly gave me the chance of a lifetime, recording an original song at Geffen Records with their executive team. Whaaaat?!?! I must be using a lot of good karma right now and if you are kind enough to help me get through the last stretch of scratching together the funds then together we are fully able to make my dreams and long time goals become a reality. I’m taking what I learned in LA working with the best producers in the business and bringing it back home to record an EP of revised music that I’ve been working hard to tell the story of the last couple of years. It’s been a wild ride and the fun is just getting started.
I am grateful to both organizations & also want to thank Broadcast Music, Inc. and Cliff Goldmacher for highlighting this contest so that I could be aware of it.
Truly, I feel humbled and head spinning excited to have a grand opportunity like this. I promise to use it wisely.
